Curiosity is the medium of play and how we create meaning in life. As children, there are no bounds to our curiosity. We are wired for play and exploration. From the very beginning, the human qualities that drive innovation are breaded within our bones. As we grow older, society kicks in and our thinking gets tinkered by what is socially acceptable, what would get noticed, or what would make money.
Sometimes we see the passion for meaning and happiness dry out in people because they are stuck in thoughts of comparison and reputation. Extraordinary artists, like Steve Jobs or Picasso, live with the passion they were born with and think in their own terms to make what they want to make. We are all born leaders with the same capacity of genius, whether we apply ourselves is what makes the difference.
