Less beautiful one's are where people chatter Over who's right and who's wrong, Truth is whatever you give meaning to, Drop the defenses when someone disagrees. A worthwhile conversation is based on the fact that we are all equally amazing when curiously amused. Amuse yourself, listen, Shape the conversation while being shaped by it, The claim of knowing is the false fantasy, Drop the insistence. Surrender to the unknown, For surprise knowings, For broader, richer understandings.

Mindfully mindless

The greatest satisfaction in my work is in helping people bring mindfulness to the center of their lifestyle and innovation to the center of their work. These are what I call absolute commitments; meaning if everything were to fail in your life or at work, the practice of present awareness and action learning would remain as honorable habits. They are the foundational forces that shape mental health, discipline and long-term growth. Mindfulness reminds us that there is an intrinsic value to life and that any plan for future success must emerge from this basic understanding. Everything is due for change, due to change, just takes a certain mindset. A simple practice of seeing without judgment, and letting go without fear are pieces to a new unfolding. Connecting the rocks

I had no idea rocks had so much character and attraction until I joined a 10 day meditation retreat in Joshua Tree, Ca, where about 60 people came to learn the ancient practice of Vipassana. The whole objective of the 10 days was to bring clarity and discipline to the mind by working with the sensations of the body. As it turns out, this is hard work. Meals were vegetarian and days started at 4am, middle of the desert, mountains starring at you from all around. Roughly, 8 hours of the day was spent on the meditation practice and of course, there was no speaking or eye contact allowed during the 10 days.
